Commonly used rubber sealing ring - fluoro rubber sealing ring - what is the material used?

Rubber is very common in the manufacture of seals. In production, in addition to rubber, the seals are made of graphite, Teflon and various sealants. Rubber product seals are commonly used at home and abroad. More commonly used industries include chemical industry, national defense, coal, transportation, and so on. It can create common basic components in a variety of industries.

      1. Nitrile rubber is a commonly used material in oil resistant seals. Nitrile rubber (NBR) has excellent fuel resistance and aromatic solvent resistance, but is not resistant to ketones, esters, hydrogen chloride and other media.

      2. Neoprene neoprene has good corrosion resistance to inorganic acids. Neoprene has good flexibility and impermeability and can be made into film and vacuum sealed products. Neoprene has good oil and solvent resistance, but is not resistant to aromatic oils. Neoprene has a cross-linking break temperature above 200 ° C and is commonly used to make door and window seals.

       3. Natural rubber Compared with most synthetic rubbers, natural rubber has good comprehensive mechanical properties, is more resistant to cold, and has higher rebound and wear resistance. Natural rubber is not resistant to mineral oil but is stable in vegetable oils and alcohol. Universal sealants are also typically made from natural rubber.

      4. Fluororubber has excellent heat resistance and oil resistance. It can be used to make cylinder liner seals, rubber bowls and rotating lip seals, which can significantly increase the use time.

      5. Silicone rubber has excellent high and low temperature resistance, ozone resistance and aging resistance, and is suitable for sealing gaskets required for manufacturing mechanisms, such as sealing gaskets for strong light source lamps, valve gaskets, and the like. However, silicone rubber also has some disadvantages such as: oil resistance, low mechanical strength, and high price. Therefore, it is not suitable for the manufacture of oil-resistant sealing products.

       6. EPDM rubber has good aging resistance and ozone resistance. It can be used at 120 °C for a long time and has good reaction to alcohol, acid, alkali and oxidant. However, it is easily eroded by aliphatic and aromatic solvents. EPDM rubber has excellent steam resistance and can be used to manufacture sealing products such as steam-resistant separators. In life, EPDM is widely used in washing machines, televisions and other accessories.

      7. Polyurethane rubber This rubber has good wear resistance and impermeability. The use temperature is between -20 ° C and 80 ° C. In addition, it also has oil resistance (medium), oxidation resistance and odor resistance but they are not Resistant to acids, alkalis, water, steam and ketones.
