Oil Seal function

Skeleton oil seals are widely used in automobiles, motorcycle crankshafts, camshafts, differentials, shock absorbers, engines, axles, front and rear wheels, etc. His role is generally to isolate the components that need to be lubricated from the output components in the transmission components so as not to leak the lubricant. Usually used for rotating shafts, it is a rotary shaft lip seal. The skeleton is just like the reinforcing steel inside the concrete structure, which plays a reinforcing role and allows the oil seal to maintain its shape and tension. According to the skeleton type, it can be divided into inner skeleton oil seal, outer skeleton oil seal, and inner and outer skeleton oil seal. The skeleton oil seal is made of high-quality nitrile rubber and steel plate, with stable quality and long service life.

  1. Limit the leakage of lubricant in bearings. The requirements for oil seals are that the dimensions (inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness) should be in compliance with the requirements; proper elasticity is required, the shaft can be properly seized, and the seal function is used; heat resistance, wear resistance, strength, and resistance to the medium ( Oil or water, etc., long service life.

  2. To prevent sediment, dust, moisture and other intrusions into the bearing from the outside;
